YV Subba Reddy elected as chairman of college governing body – Times of India


TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams chairman YV Subba Reddy was elected as the chairman of Sri Venkateswara college at the national capital New Delhi on Wednesday.

Sri Venkateswara college is a co-ed constituent college of the university of Delhi established by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams at New Delhi in 1962. The college is considered one of the best in the country with specialized courses in science, commerce and economics.

During a review meeting of the governing body through video-conference held TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy’s residence at Tadepalli on Wednesday, the governing body decided to appoint Dr Padma Suresh as the in-charge principal and Dr Venkat Kumar as the vice principal of the college.

The decision was taken by the governing body in view of the present principal Dr P Hemalatha Reddy retiring on May 31.

TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO P Basant Kumar, treasurer and TTD FACAO O Balaji, board members Dr Sudha Narayana Murthy, Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy, Dr Nischita, Parthasaradhi Reddy, DP Ananta took part in the video-conference held on Wednesday.
