It was late Rishi Kapoor who played Akbar in the movie ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. It was one of the most loved movies of Amitabh and Rishi together. Their pair was such a hit that recently also the two worked in ‘102 Not Out’. Despite sharing such an amazing on-screen bond and off-screen hearty relation, Amitabh Bachchan never visited Rishi Kapoor when he was in the hospital. He revealed the reason for the same in a eulogy, wherein he wrote “I never visited him in hospital, I never wanted to see distress on his smiling cherubic face. But I am certain, when he went, he must have gone with a gentle smile.”

Big B also tweeted his grief over the demise of Irrfan Khan, who was his ‘Piku’ co-star. He wrote “Just getting news of the passing of Irfaan Khan. This is a most disturbing and sad news… An incredible talent… A gracious colleague, a prolific contributor to the world of cinema. Left us too soon. Creating a huge vacuum. Prayers and duas.”
