MG University to resume exams on May 18 – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Mahatma Gandhi University, (MGU) Kerala will resume university exams from May 18, 2020. Exam Controller of MG University informed that the UG and PG exams will be resumed from the third week of May 2020.

As per the information released by MGU, sixth and fourth-semester exams will be reinstated on May 18 and 19, 2020, respectively. The fifth semester UG private examinations will commence on May 25. The practical exams for UG sixth and fourth semesters will be held in respective colleges from May 25 and 28, respectively.

The fourth semester PG exams will begin on May 25 and practical exams will be from June 8, 2020. The second semester UG exams will commence in the second week of June and the practical exams will also be conducted in June.

Candidates should note that the detailed timetable of MG University UG and PG exams will be released later. MG University is preparing exam timetables in anticipation of relaxation in the restrictions imposed due to the COVID 19 by May. However, the exams will be resumed as per the instructions of the government.

MG University has also decided to implement home valuation from June 1. The home valuation will be held in nine centres and will complete in one week.

As part of the COVID 19 preventive measures, the examination and evaluation will be carried out strictly as per the instructions of the Government and the Department of Health. Colleges will also be advised to take necessary precautions.
