Kannada comedian Bullet Prakash passes away! – Times of India


News of Kannada film industry’s famous comedian Bullet Prakash suffering from liver infection and being admitted to a hospital on Sunday emerged this morning. And while fans prayed for the star, he succumbed to liver failure and breathed his last at the hospital today afternoon.

Bullet Prakash, who was on a ventilator, had been too hard on his body in the past few months when he lost 35 kgs in five months. The sudden weight loss seems to have taken a toll on his body which started showing a lot of irregularities in the past few days. Bullet Prakash’s passing away has been a big shock to the industry and actor Duniya Vijay has immediately rushed to the hospital.

Bullet Prakash, who has appeared in more than 300 films, has been popular for his body language and appearance. He made his acting debut with the movie ‘Dhruva’ and has appeared in more than 325 films in Kannada, Tamil and other languages. He got the nickname ‘Bullet’ because he rides a Royal Enfield Bullet. He also joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 2015.

The actor has been seen in hits like ‘Jackie’, ‘Bombay Mittai’, ‘Bheeshma’, ‘Mast Maja Maadi’ and others. ‘Mehabooba’ was the last Kannada film he appeared in. He has also acted with Kannada film industry stars like Puneeth Rajkumar, Darshan, Shivarajkumar, Upendra, Sudeep and others.
