The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe Sport trim is powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbocharged engine. The engine belts out 335hp and 500Nm of peak torque while linked with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox.

The 8 Series Gran Coupe is quick off the block, with a claimed zero to 100 kmph in just over 5 seconds.
