The Dominar 400 is powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected motor which now meet BS-VI emission norms. The engine produces 40 PS and 35 Nm, noting almost no drop in power output. The bike has, however, gained 3 kilos and now weighs 187 kg.
In terms of design, Dominar 400 retains the charm of a hunk, with compact stance, aggressive LED headlamp, beefy tank, diamond-cut alloy and split tail lamp. The Dominar 400 comes uses up-side down (USD) front forks and dual channel ABS for better handling and braking. Most aspects of the motorcycle remain the same in the BS-VI avatar.
The sports tourer takes on the likes of Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM Duke 250 and Royal Enfield Himalayan in terms of pricing.
